It's time for another Elzybells sketch challenge and I totally loved this layout!! I kinda went polka dot crazy and I think it worked well, not oo overwhelming. I colored my Elzy with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol, added some dimensional glaze on the bulbs..to make them look like glass. The red patterned paper is from Basic Grey and the green dotted paper is from Wild Asparagus, from My Minds Eye. Originally I had a small Christmas tag from Making Memories as an accent, but I liked the button better.
All the Elzybelle's did an awesome job with their cards and you can visit their blogs individually to check them out, or click here and see them all together. I just think this is a great way to see everyones work all together! You can see the next sketch and play along too! Elizabeth has all the details on her blog if you hop over there to check out the DT cards.
See ya soon and thanks for stopping by today! :)
Cute...wonderful holiday card. Love your coloring, the stitching and the button.

I love the way you color! I come to your site every day just to see how well you do it. I'm a little confused though. What is gamsol and how do you use it with the prismacolors? I would really appreciate it if you could tell me. I've been wondering about it for a while. Thanks! Email is: [email protected]. Thanks!

I love this card too! The coloring is fabulous as always. Good choice for using the button, it just adds to the cuteness of the card. TFS Paula!
