happy "I have a 3 day weekend" day! So it is time to get busy and show you what I was doing this week.
I picked up some Penny Black acrylic stamps...way back two months ago. It was a toss up between two sets, and the set I choose was based on this cat in the tub! I put a bunch of sparkle in the bubbles, but not sure if you can really pick that up in this photo, the bubble are kinda small! LOL
This turned into one of those cards that I went back and forth about adding too much "stuff" or not. I placed the prima flowers on, took them off, put them on, took them off. It is just too bad that they weren't heavier, because I could have gotten a nice workout! haha In the end the flowers won out and I am happy about them. I added the tiny dew drops from Robins nest because of the bubbles in the tub. I would have added buttons if it wasn't for the bath theme. I used my Spellbinder dies to cut out the embossed square and the larger embossed scalloped square. I think this is the first time that I used a patterned paper for my background scallop, making it a bit bigger than the image, so you can see that there is a pattern. See, you can teach an old dog new tricks...ok, I just refered to myself as an old dog?
Today is movie day, and I am gonna get out and see Ironman. Jim has seen it and loved it, and he wants to also check out Hancock...with Will Smith. Two movies in one day...didn't I say I was an old dog? I will fall asleep! Happy 4th ya'll!
This card is beautiful as are all your cards!!! I love your style. I do have a question, though. What brand of card stock are you using and what colors of card stock are in this particular card?
Thanks for sharing your talent on your blog. I enjoy visiting here.

Paula, this card is so adorable. I love it! And the prima flowers are just right - good choice. I bought this set back in may and still have not used it. Now you have inspired me to get it out and get stampin! Still counting the days till the 26th!

The card would look cute with or without the flowers. I like the colors of the flowers matching the patterned c.s. so I like them on the card.
Please give a review of the Will Smith movie. I heard some opinions and wonder if you will share the same thoughts.
Thank you.
