BellaRIFFIC Friday reporting for inspiration!
This week we were all asked to color up our favorite girl...mine just happen to be those UPTOWN chicks. lol, I can NOT get enough of them. :)
Here is the gorgeous bride-to-be card I made with Brigitte...
I was never a little girl who dreamed of her wedding. I can't recall one time ever imagining I would have such a dress as our Uptown girle here. Today, I feel a little differently, LOL, maybe it's watching the tv shows 'Say YES to the Dress', 'Four Weddings' or 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'! I do like to wonder what I would pick out for myself or maybe Jordan. Though, I would be so practical and get the cheapest one I could find that I liked. haha
I decided to put my Brigitte in a lovely cream dress, with sparkle from neck-to-train. She is just pretty as pretty can be and sparkle is a must, right? I don't go to many wedding showers at all, but this is the image I would use, hands down.
You see what I did with her bouquet? I popped that baby up with my Helmar Scrap-Dots. Hmmm, it was a case of paula running out of double sided tape, so the flowery part was not solid. I was about the restamp and I thought about this. I stamped out another bouquet and when I was all done, I set it on top of the original image and then added a few flat back pearls. Teeeny tiny pearls. This Uptown girl doesn't come with a sentiment so I generated my own on my computer.
...card recipe:
Finished size is 5 1/2" x 6", Bazzill cs, Bella's BEST paper {for image}, Konnichiwa 6x6 pad from Basic Grey, 'Uptown Girl BRIGITTE the bride' from Stamping Bella, colored pencils, gamsol, glitter, flat back pearls & sewing.
If you are my friend on Facebook, you may have caught the pic I posted wednesday night, of what my deck stain looks like. Today, when I get home, Jordan and I are going to do more staining and I am hoping that it gets finished this weekend. I can hardly wait. The weather is not supposed to be in the 90's...maybe get that flower bed worked on too! {haha, noticed I only said worked on...anything with digging and pulling out in the yard...WAY down on paula's FUN list}
If you are feeling crafty...here is our sketch for next weeks BellaRIFFIC Friday...check it out!
I can handle this, how about you?? I have some more ~NEW~ release images to get colored up.
See ya soon!!!

Can't wait to see which girls you use for the class! I'm hoping for Lolly, Vienna, and the girl with the bicycle can't remember her name.
