...but her gorjuss cards is!
Hey, where did thursday go.... oh, sorry, I just got up from a two hour nap, guess that's the answer. I had Jordan making dog treats and now I am ready to go!! Did I mention that I am off work until tuesday?? I am sooo happy. To celebrate that I am taking a little trip to Dick Blick, the store where I am gonna pick up some prismacolor pencils. Then work my way back towards home with a few stops and then get coloring!
Last night was the cocktail release party at MFT, four new sets came out. *new* WTG Catch Some Rays, Puttin' on the Glitz, by Amanda Baird, Puppy Chow & Purrrfect Treats tag sets. The girls have done so many amazing things with these sets! I missed the party myself, I was working on finishing up a card and had the worst headache with this change in weather we had. Last week humid & warm, this week it felt like fall! I hit the bed early.
Now, before I show you what I did with Puttin on the Glitz...I gotta ask if any of you saw my grass tutorial on the MFT forum @ Splitcoast?? Here is the direct link if you'd like to know the secret to my grass. I guess not really a secret, just a bunch of photos on how I did that. Check out the other girls tips too...they followed directions and used the *new* sets! lol
Here is my idea of elegance... Don't ya just love that paper?, to me that screams sophostication...lol, not a speck of it in my house. shhhh
So here are the deets...Miss Thang is colored on the Perfect Paper Panels by MFT, corners nipped and little pearls added. The top dp is from foofala, and the bottom is October Afternoon. I added tiny little black stones to the bottom paper, can you see that? I used my prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color my image and I cut out the perfume bottle and added dimensional glaze to it. {photo is hard to tell on that!} I added dots to her hat band and fine glitter to her gloves and shoes. There ya have her...pretty as a picture!
And... I wanna add my BFF @ Sloan for almost 13years {hey Phyllis!!} checks out my cards in person and see's them on here and she agrees with me... when you add all this detail stuff, it just doesn't come across in pictures. Maybe I need photography lessons...LOL
If you are liking what you see and want to get all the sets released for July...Kim has a one-click bundle on sale for 48 hours after the release... $46.00. You have 24 hours left to grab a great summer deal! Hey, if you want a chance to WIN all the sets for the month..you gotta play along with the one-click challenge at the begining of the month, in the SCS forum. Candice & I were the hostess's for July and Belinda won with this crafty set of cards!! August will be here befor you know it!!

Like Paula says.....these photo's don't do justice to her cards. I see them in person and I want to say they are by far the most outstanding cards I have EVER seen. She has more talent in her baby finger than I have in my entire body. When you see them here they are wonderful but to see them in person is a total treat. I love when she brings in a new one, just to see what she has come up with next. Every time I think she can't out do the last...she does. Paula you're one of a kind!

Congratulations! No surprise there considering the degree of your talent, though. This card is as fabulous as all the others. Sigh. Your shading takes my breath away. I think I need CPR or a nebulizer at least!
