Hi Hoppers and stamp fans of all varieties! Tonight is our My Favorite Things Blog Hop and we have been doing it earlier, don't ya like that?? I love it! Nothing like getting inspired for the night and going to bed with visions of rubber dancing in my head... Hey, that sounds like a song... Let's get a movin' because there is plenty more to see. If you didn't start from the begining than ya wanna head back to Kim's blog {{ she's the "MFT Lady" and leader of this here gathering! }}
Now, I want to tell you I was so inspired by the MFT Idol contest and I wanted to branch out in some other items besides my cards. Those contestants rocked with all their creative ideas, so here goes for me...
I have a couple lunch box tins waiting to be altered and I had this in mind when I saw those ADORABLE Poppies from MFT this month!! I {{heart}} these little rockers and I think some lucky girl will too when this is included as part of their birthday gift! Who says a gift card needs to come in an envelope!!
I used a paper line by American Crafts so it's all coordinating and just for girls. I colored in Prisma pencils and blended with gamsol. I cut, glued ribbon, placed black and clear crystals all over it and glittered a little too. I used every stamp in the set except for the sentiment 'stamps ink & rock n' roll'...lol if it was for me to keep I would have included that somewhere as well!! I added a line of musical notes to the inside of the card, at the bottom.
I don't want to keep you too long, so now is the time to get over to Michele's place and see what stunning pieces she has created with our *new* releases!!
Now you won't hear it just here, but join us tomorrow, wed. night from 8-10 pm eastern, in the MFT forum on SCS. Kim is rolling out the new MFT Sweet 16 Design Team and there is also gonna be the BIG announcement of the MFT Idol finalists and who will be joining us for the next 6 months!! I know there are gonna be a few girls who may not sleep tonight!! See ya tomorrow!!
