Spring is in the air and I am so glad you are hopping in today to check out my 'Tea with Flopsey' card. If you popped in without starting at the begining, you can see all the DT projects starting with Kim, The MFT Lady.
I say it every month now...I {heart} Flopsey! When I got to putting my card together I knew I wanted it to be light, airy, and renmind me of an old Beatrix Potter story.
I wanted it to look like that loved book that you couldn't put down as a kid. I stamped the leaf trio in two shades of green chalk inks and added a little glitter. The tea pot is cut out and mounted besides Flopsey because I can be a little lazy when it comes to masking. My hands just start working faster than the mind sometimes... The green polka dotted paper is from MFT's digital packs, printed off while in my pj's! My card is colored with my Prismacolor pencils, gamsol and stumps.
The hoppin' isn't finished because I am sending you over to Jessie's to see what gorgeous creations she has up her sleeves!
Don't forget tonight's Cocktail Release Party in the MFT forum on SCS, 9-10 pm, eastern time. There are 5 amazing sets this month...Hangin' With My Peeps, Tea with Flopsey, Nite Nite Ellie, Monsters Ink & Hooga Booga, something for everyone! As always, it's just a fun time seeing what eveyone has done with the sets.
Have fun!

Wow! This is too cute, I was always curious on how to color the bunny in, solid or not?!? Yours looks great! Is it string that is around the outside, or is the paper just rolled up on the edges?
Thx,
S.
