spellbinders flower...
When I saw this flower a few months ago, I knew I needed it, needed it...
I was making a wedding card the other night and somehow I ended up here with the same layout, but a birthday card. The patterned paper is from Chatterbox, who makes some of the best flowery paper in my humble opinion! LOL The sentiment is Mixed Messages from Paper Trey, and the ribbon is from Michael's. This ribbon is fast becoming my favorite for $3.99. I usually pick it up on sale, it's their 'basic' line and it ties so nice, so soft! This is some I had left from doing my sisters wedding invites.
This is the wedding card I made before the birthday card above. I liked the layout, I used it twice in one night...not like me! LOL
My inspiration was the wedding colors...purple and green. I stamped out the sentiment on ivory but it wasn't doing it for me, so I pulled out a greyish purple piece of cardstock. I added some tiny rhinestones...need more of these.
Have a wonderful day, we are getting closer to the weekend and I can smell the hot dogs now!

You won't believe this...I ALSO have that chatterbox paper. that particular one is among my most fav's...so much so that i use it sparingly for fear i'll never get any more of it! AND...i also have that spellbinder flower...yes HAD to have it...but have i used it yet. don't ask! cheers to my american sister! L.
