bold and beautiful...
I have to admit that while I have been a fan of pink and brown, for some time now, I don't always put it together with a bold pink. This paper jumped out at me and I grabbed it, it's from Paper Salon.
I needed a birthday card for a younger-than-me gal, who is expecting her second little boy. I don't personally know the person who I made this for, I work with her mother-in-law, I assume she is surrounded with 'boy' stuff and thus needed a shot of 'girly-girl'! LOL My favorite colors are just what I wanted to use. I also wanted to use my Stampin' Up! hostess set...So Many Scallops. {{dare I repeat that this is the first time I used it?}}
I bought the punch that accompanies this set and used my Stampin' Up! markers to color the flame, candles and sentiment. Ok, the markers have been used, but I don't use this technique nearly enough! This card has lead me to many more ideas swimming in that head of mine, lol.
Well kids, it's time to get crafty and enjoy the last of my 3 day weekend. I have a full week ahead with college orientation, for Jordan, and running the shop floor with Kelly on vacation this week. Keep your fingers crossed! See ya soon, thanks for stopping in today, love paula :)
