a little blog candy treat...
OMG, I know that I mentioned this a looooong time ago, and I finally snapped the pic of the stamp sets. I put the four sets together, but I'd like to send out 2 fonts to two awesome readers. I will also be throwing in some other goodies, but that will be the "surprise" you get when you open your little package!
I have been using these little font sets on my cards, and while I would not mind adding these sets to my family...I think I should share with others! I am very lucky to live in an area with several lss's, plus all the chains. I know from surfing the blogs, that not all you guys can run to a store and grab this or that. Soooo, if you'd like to give two fonts a loving home just leave me a comment! Tell me if you have ever sewn on paper, tell me something you wanna try or something you have bought, but not gotten around to doing it...yet! I have a list as long as my arm, I should write my ideas down and check them off. I bought a 'castaway' ink pad that you are supposed to heat with an iron...no, it isn't even opened, I'm saving it...LOL I took a brayer from BFF Mary Catherine Jackman...no, I haven't tried that 'joseph' technique yet...but I want to! I also don't use my Scor-pal for much other than scoring my cards...I have seen awesome ideas though!
Basically drop a line and let me know I am not the only person who stays in her 'zone' and hasn't tried everything out there! haha
Spread the joy, and comment back here by 9pm est Sunday night. :)
Happy Stamping!

BAHAHAAHAHAHA!
Yes...I also have a castaway pad...cripe, I even bought the mini iron too! I'm proud to say I have used the pad ONCE (no need to use the reinker i bought though)...but I have used the little iron a few times so I'm proud of that!
Do i have a scor pal, YES...do I use it?...well, only for scoring cards, but since I score a ton of cards for classes I have no regrets on that purchase.
Brayer?...yes, i have one, I have tried it, but I'm not very good at it.
what about the MM tag curler...why did i buy it? who knows because I HATE heavy bulk on my cards. i used it once, but ended up hammering the thing flat, then threw the card away because it looked like crap!
oh! and don't ask me how many SU wheels I have that have nevah seen ink! yes, that would include a large and small wheel! I like the ones I bought, but just haven't gotten around to using them. (maybe I should spend less time on the blogs and more time at the desk!...hmmmm!)
How 'bout a Melting Pot...do you have one of those? I do! Have I used it? Yes, not a lot, but I wouldn't get rid of it.
Crimping tool?
Brass Stencils and embossing paste?
Xyron?
Should I go on?...naaaaaaa...you'll see for yourself when you come north of the border (technically though, you are coming south of the border if you are crossing in detroit)

oh my... there's still the flocking to try...
the embossing folder i've been meaning to try on my cuttlebug, haven't even ventured out on the paper sewing yet... my SU! craft inks are probably all dried up by now... haha! and as linda posted, i don't think i've even used the 2 SU! wheels i own. my embossing powders have been abandoned, a whole lot of stamps just laying in boxes... not much into the ribbon lately...
just basics - patterned paper, a quick stamped image, and paper punches. my list of things to try grows and grows when i'm on SCS and hasn't been getting checked off much lately.

Wow. Is there a space limit? First, I have SU wheels that I have GOT TO FIGURE OUT! My g-d, some I even buy on eBay. I must figure out how to use these things. Then I have the Tag Curler. How the heck does that thing work? All I do is break the tags. Rub-ons. Love them, love the look of them, love all of the rub-on applicator tools I've purchased. Have I used a rub-on? Nope. What about the bendable ruler that I HAD to have? Or the SU set that was retired so I had a friend in Australia buy it for me and send it to me. The set I HAD TO HAVE? The one that's sitting here on my desk. Sigh.

lol...I feel bad even listing the things I have but haven't tried! I bought the MM Tag Maker, it's still in it's package. I had to have a melting pot, and pure beeswax, have I tried it? Nope! I bought the glue pad and haven't tried it. I have bought a million things to alter,(well, not a million, but I am sure you get the jist of it), and never altered a thing! I bought the adirondak paint dabbers, still unopened. Honestly, I could go on for a long time, but I best stop now or I will feel way to guilty!!!! lol
I have sewn on cards, and I love it! I just have to pull out my sewing machine more often and play!
Thank you for the chance to win the font sets!!!

OMG!!!! How long ago did I give that to you???? Bad person, shame on you. :):)
But who am I to talk. If any of these people saw my stamp room and the things I have and never used they would scram. baaaahaaaaa!!!
Lets see, watercolor crayons never used 4 yrs old, pastels from SU 4 yrs old and never opened either. At least 10 packs of paper never opened but had to have. I bought those stamp pads that look like the northern lights. Never used them. But I have been looking for the refill ink for them. Why I don't know. Its not like the ink will go anywhere. I also have every ink color from SU along with the ink refill and only used Black, Brown and white. I even have a fancy storage unit for all my stamp bads. It is soooooo sad I tell ya. Sooooo sad.
Well see ya later. BTW I love you icecream card. It is Yummy!!!!!

So Paula, by now you see that you are not alone...that in fact we all do it!! See it, love it NEED it, get it....and then SAVE it...and so the cycle goes!
My mum n dad recently bought me a sewing machine for my papercrafts...and I love it!! I have it sitting out though so it's easily accessible and I DO use...just today my mum was here making a few cards and I asked her "Ma, ever thought you'd see the day when you'd be sitting SEWING bits of paper...?"...we both had a good laugh!!
I did buy one of those glue pads that still needs the wrapper removed....and quite a few stamps that I NEEDED...not inked yet...but one day I'll get round to them all...
Actually this year I did stop buying so much so that I could get on with using what I already had...and I actually enjoyed that!!
In any case, I LOVE the hobby and I love seeing all the new "stuff" that they constantly come up with....so I don't think things will change around here....I'm happy with my addiction!! heehee bx

Geez, I have a whole upstairs full of stuff I haven't used, so I'll skip that one. Have I ever sewn on paper? Nope. In fact, have I ever sewn on anything? Nope. Unless you count a button, I did once sew a button back onto a shirt. Do I know how to use a sewing machine? Nope. In fact, I was at my mom's house (who is an excellent maker of all things sewn) and was sitting at the table where her sewing machine is, and I started pulling thread out. See, I thought it was a loose piece of thread near the needle, and I kept pulling it. Even my sister looked puzzled as to why it never ended. Finally my mom noticed and yelled at me to quit pulling the thread off the bobbin. I guess you can understand now why I haven't sewn on paper yet.

p.s. Love your blog - your coloring is fantastic!

I have sewn on paper, but not with a whole lot of success. I hand sewed on paper much better than with a sewing machine! I don't even have a Scor-pal, though they do look like you can do some amazing things with them. I don't have a brayer either, believe it or not, I do scrapbook and make cards, but I tend to stick with the things I know. I really need to branch out some and try different things. Great blog candy!

I have only been stamping for 1.5 yrs so there is a jillion things I have not tried especially techniques. People talk about crayon resist like it's old news yet I have never gone there. Oh the stuff I buy just because I read that it is fabulous is unbelievable. I hardly even know where any of my stuff if in the piles let alone opened the package or removed it from the bag. I am at the end of a craft room reno so hoping that might change! Maybe?! I would LOVE to give your alphabet stamps a loving home!!

Let me start by saying that I love your creativity and really look forward to see what you have done every day!
Have I ever sewn on paper? No, but I would love to try it. I have a sewing machine but need to go by a few extra needles and get brave one day.
I have bought a few clear, colorless glass plates and would love to get around to stamping and etching on them. I have seen it done really well and think I can do it, but I just haven't taken that leap yet. As far as other techniques, I am always looking for some new way to fold a card, so I try to seek out different styles and ways to make things interesting.
Thank you so much for a chance at some really cool blog candy. If I happen to win I promise I will give the alphapbets a good, loving home with plenty of use!

Where do I start. I have never used my Crafters Companion even thought I thought I would use it everyday. I also never use my Scraparatus although I continue to buy all the dies. I have never used my coluzzle infact I really can't even figure it out. And speaking of templets I probaby have 15 or more and yes you guessed it. I never use those either. I have not used a brayer yet but it is on my wish list. I did try sewing on a card but since I don't have a machine it turned out to be a bit of a mess.
