just monkey-n around...

Can you tell I have no clue as to how that word above is spelled? 040608_001 Be kind, say you don't know either! LOL  Isn't this guy too cute? I needed a Mothers day card with a monkey, for someone who gets any card made, with a monkey. Well, I bet she won't have this guy! That's what I told the girl I work with...I have two really cute monkey stamps and I am up to the challenge! If you are wondering where this little guy came from, it's a stamp from Paper Source. They have really cool stamps and very nicely priced, deeply etched rubber. After drooling over the catalogs for years, I finally made it to one of their stores in Chicago a few years ago...heaven!

Decorating his shirt for Mother's Day seemed the best way to go, if his arms were bigger he would have gotten a tattoo! I paired him up with my Prima colorables paper....hearts, that I bought for Valentines and didn't use yet. Hmmm, I have said that before I think. I used my colored pencils to do all the coloring on the monkey and the hearts. I cut out a heart and put it in his hand and gave him some soft grass to walk on. {{ maybe by Mother's Day ours will be that green too! }}

Today I didn't go to work, so Jessica will see this card in the morning. Hope she likes it and her mom does too. I made one for her mother-in-law, but she likes frogs.

smiles...paula
