Where does the time go...
when you sit down in front of the computer and do a little "research", {{lets call it that!}} and then bam, it's dinner time and your stomach is starting to rumble?
Well, first things first, shall we. How do you like this card? I was "researching" the Pub Calls listings and found a DT opening at Card Positioning Systems. So being the willing gal that I am, I decided to try my hand at some sketches....ohhhh, I like! How fun it was, I am going back for more! So, I came up with two cards, using their sketches and submitted them last night. If you didn't know about the DT call, it ended yesterday, or I would have linked it up here. So I will sit with my fingers crossed hoping maybe to get my foot in the door someplace. My dh keeps saying someone will want me!! haha {{It makes me laugh :) }} I figure when the ship comes in, I will be waiting...I may be all inky and glittered, but I will be waiting...
Ok, back to that card above. I used another cute!! baby image from those Fiskar people. I had bought the paper to do baby girl cards, and kinda forgot about it in my paper bin. So I had to pull it out and use it, no since saving it, use it up! I have been on such a sewing kick, using my beige thread, white thread, back to the beige. Good thing it doesn't take me long to thread that needle! LOL That Sister I had in home ec. must be so proud of me, I am sure she is looking down upon my handiwork, while the choir of angels sing in the backgroud....
yeah, I am getting hungry! My mind trails off when there is no food to keep me focused and alert. For the life of me I can't remember the Sisters name, and I might have to pull out a dusty...old..yearbook!! Can somebody get me a kleenex?
